09:35-11.00 Introduction to Behavioural Science. What behavioural science is, why it is important, and how you can use it to become a powerful investment marketer. You’ll learn about behavioural science and its application for you, with practical exercises. You’ll learn how fast and slow modes of thinking affect you, and your clients.
11.00 Tea/coffee break
11.30 How to apply behavioural science to writing and editing copy
How the structure of copy makes all the difference and how the choices you’re presented with can mislead you. What that means for the choices you present to your clients.
How to use language to prompt action from clients and colleagues alike.
Getting clients to make decisions in your favour.

Practical ways to spot cognitive biases and how they affect the decisions you (and others) make, how to beat them, and how to help others do the same. How to influence others in order to get their buy-in, such as sales and investment teams. You’ll learn how to spot your own biases and those of others around you, which will help you to influence them. You’ll learn a powerful technique to spot how your colleagues and bosses view their problems, so that you can match their thinking and win them over.
